GoDaddy hosting pricing starts at $5.99 a month in the US for the Economy plan, and at ₹89 a month in India for the Starter plan. But both prices need a 3-year term, and both plans renew at about two to three times that price.
GoDaddy has changed its plans a lot in the last two years. The old Business Hosting plans are now called High Performance, the WordPress plans have new prices, and the VPS plans are now named by their size. I checked every price below on GoDaddy’s own website in October 2026, and I added the total you pay for three years and the regular price that comes after, because the monthly price on the banner doesn’t tell you either of them.
In the US, GoDaddy web hosting costs $5.99 to $12.99 a month (Economy to Ultimate), High Performance hosting costs $17.99 to $54.99, WordPress hosting starts at $5.99, and VPS starts at $8.99. All of these are first-term prices on a 3-year plan. For most small websites the right plan is Economy, which is $215.64 for the first three years before tax, and the regular price after that is $11.99 a month.

GoDaddy Web Hosting Plans and Prices
These are GoDaddy’s cPanel shared hosting plans. Most people buying GoDaddy hosting buy one of these.
| Plan | Websites | Storage | Price (3-yr term) | Pay for 3 years | Regular price | Free domain |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
GDEconomyAlex’s pick |
1 | 25 GB NVMe | $5.99/mo | $215.64 | $11.99/mo | Year 1 |
GDDeluxe |
10 | 50 GB NVMe | $7.99/mo | $287.64 | $16.99/mo | Year 1 |
GDUltimate |
25 | 75 GB NVMe | $12.99/mo | $467.64 | $21.99/mo | Year 1 |
All three include cPanel, Node.js, free email, a 30-day money-back guarantee and site security. Prices before tax, checked October 2026.
The one difference that is easy to miss is SSL. Economy lists a free SSL certificate for 1 year only, while Deluxe and Ultimate list free, unlimited SSL for all your websites. So on Economy, check in your account before the first year ends, otherwise you may be asked to pay for SSL from year two. When I asked GoDaddy India’s sales chat in October 2026, they told me the SSL renewal on Economy is ₹5,999 a year. That is almost as much as the hosting renewal itself.
GoDaddy doesn’t list RAM or CPU for these three plans. Their sales chat told me Economy has 512 MB RAM, and they didn’t give a CPU number. That is enough for a small WordPress site, but a busy site or a WooCommerce store can hit this limit.
If you have only one website, Economy is enough. Deluxe makes sense when you have two or more sites, because for $2 more a month you can host up to 10 websites and you get SSL for all of them. You can read the full plan details in my Economy vs Deluxe vs Ultimate comparison.

GoDaddy High Performance Hosting Prices
For many websites or busy sites. These plans give you fixed RAM and vCPUs, which the normal plans don’t list.
| Plan | Websites | RAM / vCPU | Storage | Price (3-yr term) | Pay for 3 years | Regular price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
GDLaunchLowest |
50 | 4 GB / 2 | 100 GB NVMe | $17.99/mo | $647.64 | $34.99/mo |
GDEnhance |
100 | 8 GB / 4 | 200 GB NVMe | $29.99/mo | $1,079.64 | $54.99/mo |
GDGrow |
150 | 16 GB / 8 | 300 GB NVMe | $39.99/mo | $1,439.64 | $79.99/mo |
GDExpand |
200 | 32 GB / 16 | 400 GB NVMe | $54.99/mo | $1,979.64 | $109.99/mo |
All four include cPanel, Node.js, unlimited databases, a free dedicated IP, a free domain, free SSL for all sites and a 30-day money-back guarantee. Checked October 2026.
If you read older articles, you will see GoDaddy “Business Hosting” with the same plan names (Launch, Enhance, Grow, Expand) but with 2 GB to 8 GB RAM. Those plans are gone. The new High Performance plans have double or more the RAM, and the prices are also different.
Launch is a good jump from Deluxe when your site has started getting heavy traffic, because you get 4 GB RAM and a dedicated IP. But at $34.99 a month regular price, compare it with a VPS before you buy, which I explain below.

GoDaddy WordPress Hosting Pricing
One WordPress site per plan, with GoDaddy’s own panel instead of cPanel.
| Plan | Storage | Price (1-yr term) | Regular price | What it adds |
|---|---|---|---|---|
GDBasic |
10 GB NVMe | $6.99/mo | $14.99/mo | Free domain, email, SSL with no renewal fee, CDN, automatic updates |
GDDeluxe |
20 GB NVMe | $10.99/mo | $19.99/mo | Staging site and SEO Optimizer |
GDUltimate |
30 GB NVMe | $14.99/mo | $26.99/mo | WooCommerce selling, priority support, Git, Object Cache Pro |
The WordPress hosting page shows 1-year term prices. On the main hosting page, Basic is $5.99 a month on a 3-year term. Checked October 2026.
The Basic plan is the only GoDaddy plan where SSL is listed with “no renewal fees”, which is a small but useful plus. But it has only 10 GB storage, compared to 25 GB on Economy, and its regular price is $3 higher. If you are comfortable with cPanel and WordPress is easy for you, Economy gives you more for less.
GoDaddy VPS Hosting Pricing
Self-managed servers, named by their size. Managed VPS is sold separately.
| Plan | Storage | OS | Price (3-yr term) | Pay for 3 years | Regular price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
GD1 vCPU / 2 GB | 40 GB NVMe | Linux | $8.99/mo | $323.64 | $14.99/mo |
GD2 vCPU / 4 GBRecommended | 100 GB NVMe | Linux or Windows | $17.99/mo | $647.64 | $29.99/mo |
GD4 vCPU / 8 GB | 200 GB NVMe | Linux or Windows | $34.99/mo | $1,259.64 | $59.99/mo |
GD4 vCPU / 16 GB | 200 GB NVMe | Linux or Windows | $44.99/mo | $1,619.64 | $74.99/mo |
Snapshot backups included. cPanel or Plesk (Pro edition) can be added for $19.99 a month. Checked October 2026.
Here is something interesting. The 2 vCPU / 4 GB VPS costs exactly the same as the High Performance Launch plan, $17.99 a month for three years. Launch gives you cPanel, a free domain and GoDaddy manages the server for you. The VPS gives you root access, but you manage it yourself, and cPanel costs $19.99 a month extra, so the same VPS with cPanel comes to $37.98 a month. So if you only want to host websites, Launch is the better deal at that price. Take the VPS only if you need to install your own software, like n8n or a game server.
What GoDaddy Hosting Really Costs
The monthly price is real, but you pay three years at once and the next term is at the regular price.
Economy plan: first 3 years vs next 3 years
To get $5.99 a month, you pay for 36 months at checkout. When the 36 months end, the plan renews at the regular price. On GoDaddy India I checked the cart, and the renewal amount shown was exactly the struck price for 36 months. The same pattern applies to the US plans below.
- Taxes are added at checkout, so your card is charged a little more than these totals.
- The free domain is free only for the first year. From year two you pay the normal domain renewal.

GoDaddy Extra Costs to Know About
These are the add-ons and later charges that change your real price.
GoDaddy Hosting Pricing in India
GoDaddy India has one extra plan, Starter, which is not sold in the US.

GDStarterIndia only | 1 | ₹89/mo | ₹3,204 | ₹299/mo |
GDEconomy | 1 | ₹219/mo | ₹7,884 | ₹599/mo |
GDDeluxe | 10 | ₹329/mo | ₹11,844 | ₹849/mo |
GDUltimate | 25 | ₹399/mo | ₹14,364 | ₹1,099/mo |
Prices before 18% GST, checked October 2026 on GoDaddy India with INR selected.
Starter is the plan behind the “GoDaddy $1 hosting” offer. It has no free domain or email, so read my GoDaddy $1 hosting page before you buy it.
How to Get the Lowest GoDaddy Price
- Take the 3-year termThe sale price is for the first 3-year term. Shorter terms show a higher monthly price.
- Pick by websites, not by nameOne site needs Economy. Two or more, Deluxe.
- Untick add-onsRemove Web Security and any extra you didn’t ask for before paying.
- Set a renewal reminderOne month before the 36 months end, compare and decide.
GoDaddy Pricing vs Alternatives
If the regular price after three years worries you, these two are worth a look.
For people who want a smaller renewal jump. It also uses cPanel and renews at $8 a month, against $11.99 for GoDaddy Economy, and InterServer says the price doesn’t go up after that.
For a lower intro price than GoDaddy on a similar plan. See my GoDaddy vs Hostinger comparison.
